Journey of a fish guy...

 

I can remember when I was just a little boy, Mom always kept a small aquarium. I remember going to the store to pick out fish, the decorations, the hum of the air pump even the smell of the fish food... I was "hooked"

Growing up I always had at least one aquarium, usually two or more, I loved the hobby.

I enjoyed keeping many different pets especially birds. I played soccer every chance I could but art was my life... drawing, painting, creating something, anything really, that was my passion.

Right out of high school while attending a two year art school I began working in a local pet store. My love of the birds got me started but it didn't take long to realize the bulk of my journey through the retail world would be aquatics.

 

 

The wetter the better...

 

I was addicted. I just couldn't get enough. My desire to learn and master as much as I could about fish keeping drove me to long retail hours and a steady climb up the management and design ladder. Through the years I've worked in many locations along side some of the best aquatic minds of their time. I was like a sponge soaking up as much experience as I could.

One of the things I love about what I do is still the constant quest for knowledge and improvement. Pulling from my many years of personal experience along with the miriad of quality resources I've come to know, I've been able to continue to become more sucessful with each passing year.
